Deputy Principal

This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency Alkimos Beach Primary School (PS), located approximately 45km from Perth, opened in 2017 catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Role Alkimos Beach PS is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educational leader to join our team as Deputy Principal.

This pivotal role involves shaping the learning culture of the school with a strong emphasis on curriculum development, while actively promoting the school's values, ethos, and strategic priorities.

The successful applicant will ideally provide educational leadership focused on improving student outcomes and will support the Principal in the development and implementation of the school's Strategic and Operational Plans.

As an instructional leader, the Deputy Principal should foster the professional growth of staff through a coaching paradigm and lead whole-school initiatives.

A deep understanding of the Western Australian curriculum and a commitment to current, evidence-based teaching practices is highly regarded.

The Deputy Principal will ideally build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community to support student engagement and success.

This role will contain a teaching component of 0.4 FTE.
