Senior Psychologist AHP 3 - CAMHS Southern Metropolitan Team Job no : Work type : Part time Location : Adelaide Metro Southern Categories : Allied and Scientific Health Women's and Children's Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Morphett Vale (5162)Classification - AHP3 - Allied Health Professional L3 - $104,180.00 to $111,746.00 Employment Part time (0.6 FTE) - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Southern Metropolitan team as a Senior Psychologist, where you will be responsible for : Provide expert clinical assessments and interventions in child and adolescent mental health using validated psychometric tools, structured interviews, and professional standards within a person- and family-centred care model.
Collaborate internally through multidisciplinary teams and externally with clinical psychology experts to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Assess complex cases independently, applying diverse therapeutic approaches to determine and implement the most appropriate interventions.
Deliver clear, concise written reports accessible to both consumers and professionals, following organisational policies.
Support junior staff by co-managing complex cases and co-leading clinical discussions alongside psychiatrists and expert clinicians in multidisciplinary meetings.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have : Must hold an appropriate degree in Psychology (master's degree in clinical or health psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
Must hold general registration with Psychology Board of Australia and be endorsed in clinical and / or health psychology area of practice.
Must hold approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
Extensive clinical experience in the delivery of mental health psychology services to children and adolescents, with advanced clinical experience in the delivery of a range of evidence based clinical modalities relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Demonstrated ability to carry out psychology assessments and therapeutic interventions of a highly complex nature with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents, and their families using a range of theoretical models in assessment and intervention.
