Environment & Resilience The Environment & Resilience Business Unit Manages Complex Environmental And Engineering Programs And Projects To Achieve Quality Outcomes For The Residents And The Environment Of The Northern Beaches.
The Unit Delivers The Strategic And Operational Management Of Bushland and biodiversity protection and restoration including threatened species and pest species management and the control of bush fire risk Catchment, waterway and coastal management including ecological, risk and restoration programs Strategic environmental systems & programs, climate change adaptation/resilience and corporate sustainability Environmental education, volunteering and engagement Development engineering including subdivision works, development approvals, co-ordination of s94 works delivery and certification of development works Stormwater asset maintenance, renewals and design and construction of new assets Floodplain risk planning and management Northern Beaches Council is committed to safeguarding children and young people.

Contribute specialist input to capital works and on-ground projects, ensuring contaminated land risks are identified, assessed, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide expert technical advice on reactive contaminated lands issues, supporting both strategic planning and operational activities.
About You We're looking for an experienced contaminated lands professional to join our Resilience & Natural Hazards team.
You'll bring strategic thinking and strong collaboration skills to a team driven by purpose and committed to making a meaningful impact in our community.
