This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects, mentor the next generation of customer-obsessed consultants, and play a key role in delivering transformative outcomes for our clients.The RoleThis position leads the strategic development and delivery of Workforce Transformation services — including Workforce Modernisation, Strategic Change Management, Operating Model Design, and HR Transformation — within Slalom's Australian Transformation capability team.You'll align with both global and local strategy, lead and contribute to thought leadership, deliver client engagement and provide subject matter expertise to clients across industries.
The role includes collaboration with cross-capability leadership, market and team development, talent and resource planning, and ensuring delivery excellence.Please note: Candidates must be based in Australia and available for on-site work at Slalom offices or client locations.What You'll DoClient Delivery & StrategyLiaise with executive and senior clients to shape and drive transformation Design workforce and change solutions aligned to client goals Bridge business–technology gaps to enable transformation Lead operating model design, strategic roadmaps, and business cases Build trusted client relationships across HR, L&D, Org Design, and Change Ensure delivery quality and resolve project escalations Market LeadershipShape Workforce Modernisation capability strategy and planning Represent Slalom through thought leadership and industry engagement Develop and drive go-to-market offerings and growth Business DevelopmentAct as an SME and Solution Lead in pursuits and RFx responses Build pipeline and lead business development efforts Leverage personal network to grow the business Team & Talent DevelopmentLead hiring strategy and workforce planning Mentor and develop consultants; support learning initiatives Partner with Talent team on performance and development processes Operational & Financial ManagementContribute to strategic planning and budgeting Manage utilisation, cost to serve, and headcount growth targets What You'll BringWorkforce Transformation: 10+ years' experience with relevant qualifications, memberships and/or certifications; recognised thought leader and subject-matter expert Organisation Design Expertise: Skilled in designing operating models, people strategies, and business cases and familiar with leading tools and methodologies Consulting Expertise: 7+ years in consulting leadership roles in Australia (as Senior Manager and/or Director equivalent), with a focus on change, leadership, human capital and talent consulting People Leadership: 7+ years leading teams and delivering complex transformations Strategic Mindset: Strong vision, critical thinking, and ability to translate strategy into action Executive Presence: Experience advising C-suite stakeholders and influencing outcomes Delivery Excellence: Proven track record managing large-scale engagements and financial performance Sales & Innovation: Strong pursuit leadership and ability to develop new consulting offerings and IP, track record of relationship-based selling, account leadership and client management If you are a passionate, proactive, and experienced senior leader ready to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
