Your Impact Your new role is a critical part of Yappy's Product team, based in Perth (yes, Perth).
You'll contribute to Yappy's mission by: Providing senior leadership support while our Head of Product is on Parental Leave as it relates to executing our product strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and customer needs.
Whilst our Head of Product will resume senior leadership activities when she returns, this is a permanent role and there will be ongoing opportunities for you as we scale our product Contributing to, and maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines priorities, timelines etc.
Communicating the product strategy and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams , and other stakeholders to drive product innovation, alignment and timely execution.
Identifying opportunities that align with customer pain points and market trends, and addressing them.
Ensuring processes are created, documented, and continually improved (you need to enjoy building as you go).
Supporting the growth of our Associate Product Manager - he'll teach you the ins and outs of our Product, and you'll empower him with your deep senior level Product Management expertise.
What We're Looking For You're someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is excited about building systems from the ground up while simultaneously improving existing ones, and you have a passion for enabling those around you to succeed.
You have the experience to easily flex between leading and executing as needed.
Ideal candidates will have: Significant previous experience as Senior Product Manager.
Demonstrated success owning the full product lifecycle in a high-growth, product-led tech scaleup or Saa S environment.
Track record of delivering product strategy aligned with business goals and delivering measurable outcomes.
Proven experience in delivering successful solutions as a direct result of championing effective collaboration between cross functional teams.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, customer-centric solutions.
Willingness to roll up their sleeves, navigate ambiguity, and iterate quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Excellent communication skills with ability to align diverse stakeholders around product vision and priorities.
