We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join a well established firm with office locations in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
This role will be joining their growing team in Sydney.
You will play a key role in managing and leading complex commercial disputes, providing strategic advice to clients, and representing them in court and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters, from pre-litigation to trial and beyond.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a range of commercial disputes, including contracts, breaches of warranty, shareholder disputes, and insolvency.
Draft and review pleadings, legal documents, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and prepare detailed case summaries and memoranda.
Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Skills and Requirements: Admitted to practice in Australia with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial litigation.
Strong understanding of Australian commercial law and relevant case law.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
High level of professionalism and integrity.
