About your opportunity:

Permanent full-time opportunity, 80 hours per fortnight.

The Townsville University Hospital is expanding the established North Queensland tertiary Maternal Fetal Medicine Service (MFM), increasing our expert clinical support and management, and saving families from expensive and disruptive travel to Brisbane.

We are one of the few regional MFM units in Australia and the only MFM Department outside south-east Queensland; and we provide a comprehensive range of screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for women and families in public and private healthcare sectors.

You are invited to experience this exciting opportunity as part of a significant expansion project.

Women and families will be able to access world-class care, closer to home, with the support of multi-disciplinary team including CMFM, sonography, midwifery, health worker and allied health specialist staff.

Generous remuneration package value up to $522,648 p.a., comprising:

  • Base salary between $204,206 and $258,910 p.a. (L18-L27)
  • employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%)
  • 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% loading
  • Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
  • Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
  • Motor vehicle allowance - $21,000 or $25,500 p.a.
  • Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a weeks p.a. leave

      Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to provide proof of qualification and Specialist registration with AHPRA.

      Must possess qualifications as, or currently be undertaking training to obtain, MFM subspecialist with RANZCOG.

      All new employees will be required to undergo a 6-month probationary period.

      Pre-employment screening, including criminal history checks and VPD risk role compliance, will be conducted for the successful applicant.
