Job Description:

This is a key role that will provide leadership to a technically diverse team that deliver safe, efficient and effective frontline preventative and corrective maintenance of communication, navigation, surveillance and infrastructure assets (CNSI) and systems that support Air Traffic Control (ATM).

Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue fire fighting services at Australia's busiest airports.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team to maintain infrastructure assets that support CNSI and ATM operations
  • Assist to develop CNSI asset care and maintenance programs that ensure asset performance reliability and availability when needed
  • Establish, foster, and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful outcomes for
  • Airservices and its stakeholder
Job Requirements:
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of the practices and requirements of 'Fairness and Diversity', 'Work Health and Safety' and 'Values
  • Based Leadership' and the demonstrated commitment to manage the practical application of these principles in the workplace
  • Ability to drive, deliver and sustain transformation activities
  • Demonstrated capability to lead continuous improvement activities of maintenance management systems/processes whilst maintaining audit compliance
  • Proven ability to effectively manage across multiple sites which may include office, workshops, and site storage
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage in an autonomous and remote work environment exercising exceptional levels of initiative in a variety of circumstances
Qualification & Experience:
  • Experience in the effective implementation of asset maintenance, logistics and supply chain systems
  • Experience of successfully leading and delivering strategic change and improvement initiatives
  • Ability to drive, deliver and sustain transformation activities
