Queensland Cricket are seeking a driven Coaching & Talent Specialist to join our Community Cricket team on a permanent full-time contract, based in Toowoomba. We welcome all applicant's junior and/or experienced to apply.

About the role

Reporting to the Area Manager - Country South, in this role you will be responsible for the promotion, implementation and delivery of player and coaching pathways across the Darling Downs Southwest Qld region.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with clubs to develop better training environments.
  • Build, mentor and maintain a network of talented coaches across the region.
  • Establish an annual calendar of coaching workshops and seminars.
  • Lead, plan and deliver Community Coach Education courses.
  • Update and lead depth charts to identify talented cricketers in the region.
  • Support and deliver programs, when required, for players with potential to play State level Cricket.
  • Support and guide the regions representative program.
  • Support schools interested in developing cricket programs.
  • Support and inform the delivery of engaging junior cricket formats.

About you

The successful applicant must have:

  • Representative (Level 2) Coach Accreditation
  • Demonstrable coaching experience with individuals and teams
  • Experience in athlete talent identification and development processes
  • Excellent at building relationships
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Current Blue Card for working with children issued by Blue Card Services Qld
