Position: Associate Workers Compensation Consultant

Expectations:

As an Associate Workers Compensation Consultant, you will offer professional support to Mercer Marsh Benefits colleagues and clients by managing injury software, communicating with insurers, handling injury management tasks, and assisting the team with administrative duties.

This role provides a great starting point in Workers Compensation consulting and injury management, offering room for career growth.

You will work closely with national employers, providing assistance to both colleagues and clients;

  • Handling new claims
  • Managing inboxes
  • Working with various systems
  • Organizing documents and files
  • Entering data

In addition, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks including:

  • Managing vendors
  • Running projects
  • Assigning work
  • Handling expenses
  • Making travel arrangements
  • Preparing and formatting documents

Responsibilities:

  • Operating injury management software for clients
  • Liaising with insurers regarding injury management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required;
  • Producing and formatting reports, presentations, and other documents;
  • Generating invoices;
  • Maintaining files and databases;
  • Supporting the Workers Compensation team during peak periods;
  • Managing correspondence and meeting minutes;
  • Assisting with workers compensation payroll
  • Following manager's directives

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent
  • Background in administration or related studies
  • Experience in office environment and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Team player with computer literacy in Word and Excel
  • Compliance training will be provided upon commencement
