This role is responsible for supporting and enabling innovative uses of geospatial data and technology with
internal customers, cross government and industry partners to develop high value strategic outcomes with
material difference to Transport for NSW customers.

Key Responsibilities
Develop the stakeholder materials and strategy to support internal customers to understand and engage with the enterprise geospatial capability.Research / investigate, define and lead development of initiatives that contribute high value innovation to meet key customer outcomes and transport strategic goals and corporate values.Scoping and planning new projects with ownership of the proof of concepts or minimal viable products development to implementation (such as integration of Open Data Hub with geospatial APIs).Forming partnerships and mobilising diverse project teams and collaborations to ensure successful outcomesMonitor and report on the progress of a portfolio of initiatives.Prototype and test work, all the way through from idea, concept, design and throughout development to ensure quality delivery of concepts or minimal viable productsKey Requirements
Understanding of current innovation, technology (especially geospatial technologies and platforms) and trends.Knowledge and understanding of innovation processes.Understanding of data as an asset and data utilisation.Understanding of user experience including accessibility requirements.Experience coordinating with other teams for planning, design, governance, support processes and to ensure timely and accurate delivery of innovation solutionTo apply for this role please send an up-to-date resume to or call to discuss further.
