Our client is seeking a warm, personable and highly organised Receptionist/Administrator to become the face of their office. What you'll do:

As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the office. You will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing calls, handling correspondence, booking couriers, maintaining supplies, managing diaries, organising catering for events, and performing various other administrative tasks. Your warm personality and excellent communication skills will help you build strong relationships with stakeholders. Your ability to multitask and manage your time effectively will ensure that all tasks are completed promptly and accurately.

  • Act as the go-to person within the office, being the first point of contact
  • Oversee client experience and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage incoming calls, including answering, screening and forwarding
  • Handle correspondence, including collecting, distributing and sending
  • Book couriers and manage records of bookings
  • Enter disbursements and manage meeting rooms
  • Maintain kitchen supplies and stationery supplies
  • Manage diaries for Partners and multiple email inboxes
  • Organise catering for meetings, functions and events as required
  • Perform general receptionist duties and administrative tasks

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Receptionist/Administrator role will bring a wealth of experience from similar roles within the Australian public practice accounting/professional services sector. You will have demonstrated your warm and friendly approach in past roles, showing your ability to communicate clearly with people. Your flexibility and adaptability will be key in this role as you juggle multiple tasks at once. Your high level of computer literacy will assist you in managing various administrative tasks, while your keen eye for detail will ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

  • Previous experience as a receptionist within a professional corporate enviroment
  • Warm and friendly approach, both polished and personable
  • Clear communicator with the ability to build rapport with people of all ages and personalities
  • Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to help others
  • Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Sense of urgency to complete tasks with an eye for detail
