Randstad Launceston is seeking experienced Leading Hand Carpenter/Supervisors to join our team on an upcoming exciting major project on the North West Coast. SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience working on Major Projects Keen eye for detail and have an ability to produce high quality workAbility to push a team and adhere to site and company proceduresAbility to supervise and coordinate effectivelyDirection and management of carpenters, labourers and other tradesAbility to read and interpret construction plans and prioritise tasksInterpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with trades, management and contractorsAbility to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to build strong rapport with trades,Labourers, management and site supervisorsGood computer literacy WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED: 5 + years experience as a licensed carpenterHands on approach to all aspects of carpentry Experience in leading a small team of carpenters and labourers Experience in major projects advantageousExceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with team and site supervisorsAbility to drive projects to meet deadlines on timeProven experience of effectively manage a team, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationshipsGood understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safetyGood communicator with the ability to deal with issues if they occurWhite CardDrivers licenseWAHEWPMISC- DesirableForkliftDogging/RiggingHow to apply:
