Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the squad of Project Managers in cracking the code of projects within your assigned territory or for specific customers.
  • Become a guru for the Project Managers, guiding them through their career development journey and making sure they meet role requirements.
  • Ensure that all project-related activities are on-point with Hitachi Energy standards, contracts, and safety measures. Foster strong customer relationships and keep them happy by delivering projects on schedule.
  • Be the go-to person for customers, supporting the project team in overcoming obstacles and fostering collaboration across functions.
  • Handle project allocations and resources like a champ to drive the best results.
  • Supervise project execution and performance by conducting reviews with management and project managers to ensure contracts are fulfilled. Take charge in identifying and resolving risks and issues, especially those escalated by customers, while ensuring projects follow best practices.
  • Be accountable for accurate monthly forecasts for revenue and profitability, crafting action plans to hit the targets, and sharing best practices with other teams.

Your Background:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a solid technical foundation (project management credentials are a plus).
  • Bring in 12 to 15 years of battle-tested experience in project management within the electrical sector.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing Substation projects or similar high-voltage equipment projects.
  • Show off your leadership prowess and ability to rally stakeholders for the project's success.
  • Thrive under pressure to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Rock SAP or another ERP platform like a pro.
  • Pay close attention to detail, ensuring top-notch quality in project outcomes.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, work efficiently under tight deadlines, and ace collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Flex your analytical muscles, diving into problem-solving and risk mitigation with finesse.
  • Communicate like a boss.
