This is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time permanent position based in Sydney. Our client is seeking a top-notch sourcing expert to manage the procurement of products, using high-quality sourcing methods, strong commercial strategies, and building positive relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities of Sourcing Specialist:

  • Overseeing product and service procurement to meet profitability and service standards aligned with sales and customer strategies
  • Utilizing commercial expertise to address sourcing inquiries effectively
  • Ensuring accurate data maintenance
  • Improving process efficiency through continuous improvement methodologies
  • Cultivating strong vendor relationships and collaborating with stakeholders for smooth integration with business operations
  • Negotiating product terms with vendors following company protocols via the ERP system
  • Proactively managing vendor delivery performance and resolving non-conformance issues
  • Providing valuable insights, data, and input to product teams to leverage vendor opportunities across product ranges
  • Identifying and onboarding new vendors to support sourcing needs

About you:

  • Demonstrated expertise in procurement and end-to-end sourcing
  • Proficiency in handling various sourcing requests
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in vendor management processes and protocols
