HR Partners by Randstad have proudly partnered with a global technology leader for an impactful Employee Relations Consultant to join the team.


Our client is looking for a high-potential, high-energy, and transformational Employee Relations professional. Working alongside the Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China (APJC) team, this role will support ER matters across the Australia, New Zealand & ASEAN region.


The ideal candidate:


  • Someone with strong levels of empathy, patience, understanding, listening, and openness.
  • A great teammate whether taking a lead or getting stuck in with doing what needs to be done.
  • Have the ability to coach and influence People & Communities (PnC) and Business Leaders individually and collectively and courage to propose solutions others are reluctant to address. You are comfortable acting in the face of resistance in the best interest of the company and their people.
  • An intuitive, systems-focused thinker with strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in taking action and delivering to success.

What You'll Do

  • Providing expert consultancy, support, and advice on ER matters.
  • Resolving ER issues across the region in collaboration with People & Communities SME's and Leadership.
  • Partnering with external legal advisors to resolve highly complex ER issues and legal challenges across the region including litigation. You will effectively interpret legal advice and make recommendations, weighing up the risks and implications.
  • Using mediation, facilitation, influencing, and coaching skills to support managers and employees with early dispute resolution as needed.
  • Providing expert support and advice on ER matters in acquisitions and restructuring.
  • Contributing and driving global ER projects to support the design and improvement of the ER model.

You must possess a keen interest in relevant Employment law in the region and should be passionate about delivering and improving Employee Relations within a complex and challenging global matrix environment.
