Randstad has been given an exclusive opportunity to recruit an Operations Supervisors for one of our clients based in the South Western Suburbs of Brisbane. This position offers you the opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of the transport industry, providing a comprehensive range of technology to the transport market.

With a strong presence across Australia, this position is a key vacancy, with the role primarily supporting the Operations Manager and GM with their Queensland branch, based from Wacol. This position would be an opportunity for an individual to join a fast paced environment within a well established company and will be reporting to Managers that are passionate about what they do every day.

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Leading and developing relevant staff, including arranging training. Ensure compliance to existing procedures and policies. Improve the workflow and communication within the operations team to deliver work more efficiently and to a high standard Coordinate and administer receipt of goods into the warehouse. Inventory control of all warehouse items. Carries out the assembly, disassembly and reconfiguration of products as directed, and the use of the necessary hand and electric tools required to carry out these tasks
Coordinate workflow and allocation of work including deliveries and truck fit-ups both at the workshop and on-site (when required) Liaise with interstate operations concerning stock, production, and warehouse transfers Compliance to the policies and procedures of the Australia Quality Management System including safety procedures, general cleanliness/housekeeping etc.About you - 4+ years' experience in Warehouse Lead/Management
Basic mechanical skillsCustomer Service skills
Forklift licence
Driver's licence
