Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage weighbridge operations, including ticketing trucks, assessing waste types and suitability, interacting with drivers, conducting brief inductions, and reporting on daily tonnages.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the weighbridge and issue tickets for trucks.Assess and categorise waste types to ensure suitability.Communicate effectively with truck drivers.Conduct brief inductions for drivers.Report daily tonnages accurately. Secondary Responsibilities: Perform occasional cleaning, hosing, and shovelling tasks.Handle manual tasks such as relocating small pumps and managing hoses and pipework as directed. Work Schedule: Typical hours: 9am - 5pm (second shift).Potential for overtime if required or desired.Flexibility to cover shifts starting as early as 5:45am when necessary.
