What you'll do:

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include calculating, recording, and processing financial data, as well as preparing customer invoices based on established accounting procedures. You will also handle customer inquiries regarding billing issues and manage an Accounts Receivable ledger. Your keen attention to detail will be essential in researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will submit daily reports to management on accounts receivable operations.

Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data
Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures
Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges
Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders
Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues
Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files
Submitting daily reports to management on accounts receivable operations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Receivable Officer position brings proven experience in a similar role along with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Your excellent attention to detail and accuracy are paramount in this role, as you will be handling sensitive financial data. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential as you will be interacting with customers regarding billing issues.

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
