Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations and Union Management:
  2. Support investigations and manage union relations, focusing on Enterprise Agreement interpretations
  3. Advise on relevant Awards, Industrial Agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures
  4. Manage union right of entries and maintain positive relationships
  5. Talent Management and Workforce Planning:
  6. Develop and execute people plans in collaboration with leaders
  7. Coordinate workforce planning activities to meet medium and long-term resource needs
  8. Manage succession plans and recruitment activities aligned with headcount budgets
  9. Oversee the talent review process and develop plans for top talent
  10. HR Operations and Compliance:
  11. Support recruitment and onboarding processes, alongside the recruitment team
  12. Manage variations to employment, parental leave requests, and flexible work arrangements
  13. Handle disciplinary and performance matters, conducting investigations when required
  14. Organisational Development:
  15. Review HR metrics and identify trends to implement strategies minimising risk
  16. Develop and execute plans to achieve KPIs related to diversity and inclusion
  17. Support delivery of the Apprentice and Trainee program
  18. Assist operational leaders with HR activities such as Annual Performance Reviews and salary reviews The Successful Applicant

    Requirements:

  19. Proven experience in HR roles involving employee relations, union management, and compliance with industrial relations laws
  20. Strong knowledge of HR processes including workforce planning, recruitment, and talent management
  21. Experience with HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors)
  22. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  23. Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  24. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred What's on Offer

    Compensation and Benefits:

  25. Competitive salary range: $130,000 to $135,000 per annum
  26. Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) based on performance
  27. $4,000 private health benefit
  28. Additional superannuation contributions
  29. Flexible work-from-home arrangements to support onsite team needs
