The position

The Head of Sport will be responsible for the promotion and oversight of an extensive and diverse Co-curricular Sport Program at Canberra Girls Grammar School.

Collaborating with staff, parents and students, the Head of Sport will be responsible for the planning and delivery of our high-profile sports program. This includes logistical support to the ASC and IGSA events and other School activities as required. Supervision and Duty of Care responsibilities for students is a requirement of this role.

As a member of the Sports Committee, the Head of Sport will work closely with Senior Management in both the Senior and Junior School to ensure the School's sport strategies, policies, programs and activities are meeting the needs of the student population for a diverse, vibrant and sustainable sports program. They are also responsible for the smooth running of all co-curricular sports teams and for promoting an active and healthy lifestyle through the provision of a range of physical activities.

The final position description for this role will be negotiated with the successful candidate. This is an ongoing, full-time position.
