About the Role
The position for Senior Lecturer in Literacy Education at the Department of Education in our Hawthorn campus offers a unique opportunity for an experienced academic to contribute to teaching and research in the field of literacy. The role involves engaging in a variety of teaching methods and leading research initiatives, all aimed at making a positive impact on individuals and communities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience in tertiary teaching with a focus on literacy
- Strong skills in curriculum development in different modes of delivery
- In-depth knowledge of current trends in teacher education
- Ability to mentor students and colleagues
- A solid research background with a focus on funding and HDR supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Postgraduate Teaching Degree in Education
- Doctoral Qualification in Education.
