Project description

We are in search of an experienced senior business analyst to join a massively important multi-million-dollar program for a leading banking client in Australia. This program involves various projects related to expanding the Treasury function and requires highly skilled BAs with expertise in data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • - Participate in requirements analysis, understand details of the requirement and required validation/success criteria.
  • - Collaborate with the test team to create thorough user test cases to validate technical data-based solutions to the requirement.
  • - Engage with users, business stakeholders, providing appropriate test results, explaining the validation of original requirements and resolving any gaps in understanding.
  • - Develop quality documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • - Resolve assigned tasks promptly and escalate when necessary.
  • - Uphold and adhere to appropriate standards.
  • - Willingness to collaborate with the testing team and test lead.

SKILLS

Must have

  • - 4+ years of experience in business analysis roles involving function-rich and complex applications.
  • - Proficiency in data structures, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
  • - Expertise in Treasury domain and balance sheet management.
  • - Thorough understanding of financial products and treasury functions like balance sheet management, liquidity, NSFR, banking book risk, interest rate risk (IRRBB), transfer pricing, etc.
  • - Proven track record of collaborating with testers on functional and regression test suites in a financial services organization.
  • - Strong communication skills. Ability to comprehend requirements and explain solutions, test scripts, and results to business stakeholders and the team.
  • - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Proficient in investigating, analyzing, and troubleshooting tasks.
