Our federal government client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to work within their Chief Technology Officer Branch. As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking very complex and sensitive work, under broad direction, utilising expertise across a range of activities relating to IT Infrastructure.

The Cloud Engineer will be primarily focussed on managing and improving the department's Azure infrastructure, such as Azure resources, Office 365 applications, and the department's Standard Operating Environments. Additionally the Cloud Engineer will be asked to manage or develop AWS infrastructure.

Under direction of the relevant Director/Program Manager/Team Leaders, the Cloud Engineer's tasks and responsibilities will be to work on infrastructure tasks such as:

Office 365 Mail, File Collaboration, Teams, and associatedAzure ADAzureSecurity ComplianceMigration of users, systems andDocumentation and handover into Operations. The successful candidate must have:

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions consuming Azure services, including some or all the following:Infrastructure as a service (laaS) setup and managementIdentity - Entra ID (AAD), Azure B2C and Entra ID ConnectAPI Management (APIM) - developing APls, APIM maintenance and infrastructureServerless Compute - Azure Functions, Web AppsStorage - blobs, files shares, queues, and tablesIntegration - Service Bus and Event HubCertificate managementSecrets/ Key vault managementExperience in writing Azure DevOps Cl/CD YAML pipelines using ARM and BicepExperience with managing and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform.
