Client Details

Our client is a market leader in their sector who have experienced significant organic growth across the last 5-10 years. They are seeking a driven and ambitious Commercial Growth & Strategy Analyst with key strengths in team leadership, technical accounting and commercial business partnering, M&A, for this key leadership role. You will be an integral part of an exciting period of growth for the organisation with very strong career progression opportunities in a dynamic and high growth business.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will involve conducting in-depth market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that enhance their market position.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute robust growth strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create and implement growth initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of growth strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed strategic reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business partnerships, acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities.

Profile

  • Be or CA or CPA qualified with extensive experience of working in a similar Strategy, Business & Finance Transformation, or Commercial Finance position in a large complex organisation.
  • Exceptional business partnering mindset, with demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders in the business.
  • Previous experience leading M&A activities including strategy/target development, due diligence, pricing and valuation, deal structuring including debt financing, and post-acquisition integration.
