Job Title: Joint Venture Accountant


Location: Brisbane CBD, near Central Station


Context: Our client is in need of a financial accountant to handle Joint Ventures and free up time for the finance team to focus on regular business activities.


Company: A key player in the property sector in Queensland with a substantial asset portfolio is looking for a Joint Venture Accountant to join their committed team in Brisbane.

Position Overview: Seeking a talented Joint Venture Accountant to join the dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Brisbane near Central Station. The candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of joint venture projects and fixed assets.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Executive team on financial aspects of joint venture projects.
  • Provide timely support to the Executive Team.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and conduct research for decision-making.
  • Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Provide ad hoc support for monthly and yearly closing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification preferred.
  • Prior experience in joint venture accounting or property accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.
