Responsibilities:

- Serve as a trusted advisor concerning the financial performance of a Division or Staff functions, focusing on areas like future state financial performance, market insights, business scenarios, and enhancing internal and external financial data quality for informed decision-making.
- Offer expert consultation, direction, and guidance to enhance business performance for both functional and regional leadership.
- Lead end-to-end planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across a division/staff function.
- Develop annual plans, budgets, and forecasts for a division/staff function, with support from an FP&A analyst pool.
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of a division/staff function in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Head of FP&A.
- Take charge of monthly management reporting and analysis for a division/staff function.
- Provide regular transparent financial updates and actionable insights for the assigned division/staff function.
- Collaborate with Sr Finance Business Partners and FP&A Head to ensure the timely delivery of analysis and insights.
- Ensure business leaders are well-versed in key PBF assumptions and drivers.
- Develop business cases, including what-if analyses.
- Support ad hoc analysis as necessary.
- Engage internal stakeholders to stay informed about market changes and advise on potential business implications.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent, with a master's degree being preferred.
  • 10 years of Finance experience within an insurance company, preferably in a strategy or consulting role.
  • Demonstrated strong strategic and execution capabilities.
  • Sound judgment and decisiveness.
  • Extensive knowledge of finance, business, and regulatory environments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and advocate for division or staff function leadership team priorities.
  • Capacity to mentor FP&A analysts towards advancement to an FBP role.
  • Proficiency in accounting and finance.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Effective team leadership skills and results orientation.
  • Ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment and foster acceptance of change.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and standard software applications.
