A renowned Government Department in Brisbane CBD has partnered with
**Public Sector People** to recruit Multiple AO5 Recruitment Advisors for temporary contracts.

This role will play an important part within the HR team of the department responsible for supporting and assisting the organisation to achieve its long-term strategic objectives. The business unit is accountable for developing and ensuring an effective and high-performing workforce of approximately 6,000 FTE employees in a highly unionised environment.

**Benefits of the Role**:

- Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
- Short term 2-month contract + extension

**Responsibilities of the role**
- Foster best practice recruitment and selection processes, coordinating and analyzing various activities.
- Serve as the point of contact for resolving applicant queries, including liaising with external providers.
- Identify potential risks and conflicts and inform management.
- Develop and deliver relevant training to HR practitioners and stakeholders.
- Undertake recruitment activities and checks to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders involved in recruitment and selection activities.
- Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of recruitment policies and practices, including reporting.
- Provide highly professional and customer-focused services to customers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate, monitor, and prioritize recruitment activities, including general administration operations.
- Undertake HR projects as directed, delivering high-quality HR solutions aligned with the strategic and operational direction of the organization.
- Develop and administer systems and processes to ensure HR information integrity and appropriate management of documentation confidentiality.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Membership and/or certification with an applicable professional body would be well regarded.
- Travel may be required for this position.
- Ability to work at different sites within the organization.
