Purpose:

Assist in environmental compliance, offset management, and fostering sustainable practices for their Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to environmentally responsible infrastructure delivery on a large scale.

Accountabilities:

Support Senior Project Environmental Advisor in advising on environmental management and compliance issues.

  • Assist in identifying, implementing, and managing offset measures for net positive environmental outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders, facilitate effective communication, and champion environmental stewardship

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science/engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Proficiency in environmental impact assessments and cultural heritage management.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
