The Position

The Analyst will perform logistic-engineering analysis and OPUS10 modelling activities required for the development of customer delivered sparing solutions; drafting Recommended Provisioning Lists (RPL) for appropriate to sustain operational Sensor Systems. The Analysist will compile codification data packages, containing engineering drawings and data sheets, for the CEA supply support team to perform codification and cataloguing functions. The Analyst will prepare Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IBP), Complete Equipment Schedule Lists (CESL) and Repair Parts Identification Lists (RPIL) for submission to the Commonwealth.

The role is responsible for:

  • Performing sparing analysis using Systecon OPUS10 software to develop optimised Repairable Item (RI) procurement recommendations.
  • Drafting Required Provisioning Lists (RPL) to detail sparing analysis outcomes and recommendations.
  • Compiling Codification Data (CDATA) packages to support internal codification and cataloguing activities.
  • Preparing content for inclusion in customer delivered Technical Publications, which may include Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IBP), Complete Equipment Schedule Lists (CESL) and Repair Parts Identification Lists (RPIL).

Essential

  • Experience in product maintenance or logistic related areas of practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop support system models using Systecon OPUS10 software (or similar life cycle management software packages)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, in particular quality review of documentation.
  • Advanced OPUS10 competency or experience - Highly desirable
  • Defence maintenance or logistics experience (commercial or uniform) - Highly desirable
  • Defence codification and cataloguing exposure - Desirable

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must be:

  • An Australian Citizen
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - NV1

The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain a clearance prior to commencement.
