Exciting opportunity to for a seasoned Project Director to lead and oversee the delivery of Identity & Access Management projects.


Your Opportunity:


Reporting to the Program Director, we are looking for a talented Project Director that will share our vision of delivering critical programs successfully in a way which inspires confidence, enhances transparency and empowers teams.


Key responsibilities will include:
Lead a team of project management resources in delivering key projects
Oversee the successful delivery of complex and high-risk ICT Cyber Security projects to ensure project outcomes are achieved and enterprise solutions are delivered
Ensure project outcomes are achieved and project management capability is maintained within the Division
Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards
Ensure projects are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and Queensland Health's formal project management (PM) approach and methodologies
Ensure internal and external stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee the monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets
Develop timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for project stakeholders

To be successful in this role:

You must demonstrate excellence in program management with the proven ability to manage teams effectively to achieve successful project outcomes.

You will be skilled in high level leadership, conceptualisation and design of programs comprising of multiple large scale, complex and high-risk Cyber Security projects.

The role requires the proven ability to lead, manage and mentor multiple multi-disciplinary Cyber Security program and project teams, while also developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be experienced managing conflicting priorities across various stakeholders whilst delivering and tracking to agreed budgets and project plans.

You will also be experienced in putting together strategies, frameworks and plans to enable informed decision making on project issues.

High Level knowledge and application of project management methodologies (Prince 2) is essential for your success in this role.
