The role As the Primary Care Project Officer, you will exemplify Queensland Health's core values while taking on a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the Queensland component of national project to design an approach to sharing and linking primary care data and hospitals data to inform and support improved service delivery across this critical interface.

Your responsibilities will encompass the coordination of project implementation, from crafting a comprehensive project plan to managing allocation and reporting on resources, managing project governance, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes within budgetary constraints and to the highest standards of quality.

Additionally, you will play a central role in facilitating collaboration among key stakeholders, including departmental representatives, data experts, general practitioners, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and consumer advocates, to inform project design and drive strategic decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Your expertise will extend to developing and implementing robust strategies for ongoing project monitoring and evaluation, including risk management, benefits realization, and impact assessment.

Through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management, you will cultivate productive stakeholder relationships, ensuring engagement and alignment with project objectives at all stages.

Furthermore, you will provide expert advice and recommendations to stakeholders and senior executives, contributing to evidence-based decision-making and supporting the successful delivery of project deliverables in line with stakeholder priorities and policy objectives.

The successful personTo excel in this role, you will need exceptional interpersonal abilities and adeptness in strategic written communication, demonstrating proficiency in engaging, negotiating, and influencing various stakeholders both internally and externally.

Building and nurturing productive relationships and networks will be integral to your success.

Moreover, your experience should include spearheading projects, showcasing your capacity to develop, execute, analyse, and assess intricate system-wide initiatives within stringent timeframes.

An understanding of healthcare service delivery system across primary care and hospital services and knowledge and experience in data governance and data linkage will be highly regarded.

Furthermore, you should possess advanced project management expertise, encompassing the establishment of robust governance frameworks, task definition, priority setting, and efficient coordination to meet deadlines consistently.

Your track record should reflect tangible and enduring results.

Additionally, leadership competencies will be essential, involving the establishment, monitoring, and attainment of clearly defined performance objectives while fostering a collaborative and professional organizational culture.
