Our client, a leading Japanese company is seeking a Japanese Speaking Accountant, focusing on tax. This role will suit for an individual with strong accounting knowledge.

Description

The key responsibilities and duties:

Tax and accounting

  • Prepare documents necessary for tax related applications
  • Update regulations regarding taxation and accounting
  • Oversees tax compliance & remedial activities
  • Implement daily, monthly, quarterly and annually operations related to accounting and taxation
  • Operate and manage accounting system
  • Troubleshoot regarding tax and accounting matters
  • Support external audits and prepare financial statements
Risk Management
  • Support liquidity risk management by calculating cash flow
  • Update and improve cash flow sheet
Management Accounting
  • Prepare and monitor expense budget plan
  • Prepare expense payment
  • Prepare monthly management accounting
Reporting
  • Prepare regulatory reports and submit to authorities
  • Update the regulatory requirements and manage the reporting system
  • Prepare regular reports to the parent bank
  • Answer inquiries from authorities and the parent bank
IT
  • Develop and support data management
Others
  • Educate and support junior staff to work
  • Renew policies and procedures
  • Communicate and work closely with other department
  • Provide support regarding compliance matters
  • Support and back up other local staff (including other departments)
Profile

  • Japanese language skill is a must.
