About The RoleReporting to the Executive General Manager, Marine and Aviation, the General Manager is responsible for strategic leadership and overseeing the day-to-day operations of this seasonal business.
The General Manager is responsible for leading and managing the success of the business end to end, with full P&L responsibility.
You will be an accomplished leader and an agent for change, with an ability to positively influence and effect continuous improvement.
You see a business through the people, through the numbers, but mostly, through the experience of our guests. You will also build strong regional relationships in the local community and add value to the tourism sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the business and its people continue to deliver operational excellence.This is a full-time position based in Broome with frequent travel to the Horizontal Falls pontoon operations as required.
Key responsibilities will include:
Achievement and proactive management of the guest satisfaction index "Net Promoter Score" (NPS)Achieving or exceeding the key financial objectives of the business, with a focus on revenue delivery through yield optimisation and EBITDA conversion through efficienciesMaintain mutually successful and well cultivated relationships with key stakeholders including Government agencies and regulators, Traditional Owners, and other operators to derive ongoing benefitEnsure the consistent delivery of the business's products with the highest standards, ensuring that the business is recognised as a market leader in experiential tourism and memorable guest experiencesManage the effective maintenance, performance and productivity of the marine and land-based asset baseCollaborate with the Aviation CEO to ensure optimum access and visitation to the Horizontal Falls during the seasonAbout YouYou will have a passion to travel and a love for sharing unique and iconic experiences through the delivery of an exceptional product.
You will have:
