Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to lead a significant ICT Enabled Project.

This role offers the opportunity to provide specialist project management support to the Enterprise Email Marketing Solution (EEMS) Project within the Strategic Communications Branch.


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a project team, preparing key project artefacts, developing and executing end-to-end project management activities, and delivering continuous improvements to the operating model.


  • Lead a significant ICT Enabled Project within the Strategic Communications Branch
  • Provide highlevel specialist project management support to the EEMS Project
  • Deliver continuous improvements to the operating model in consultation with key stakeholders

What you'll do:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing an ICT Enabled Project. You will lead a dedicated team towards meeting project deliverables while exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Your responsibilities will include preparing key project artefacts, developing comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress, reporting on execution of deliverables, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.

You will also actively manage the integrated project schedule and ensure smooth transitions through effective change management strategies. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive enhancements to the operating model.

  • Lead a project team to meet project deliverables, objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Prepare key project artefacts in accordance with governance and framework requirements
  • Develop and execute activities related to endtoend project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment
  • Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of project deliverables
  • Communicate effectively using multiple methods and channels with stakeholders, including team and sponsors across multiple aspects of the project
  • Actively manage the current integrated project schedule ensuring appropriate change management activities are undertaken to enable a smooth transition to BAU
  • Deliver continuous improvements to the operating model, in consultation with the IT Project Board, Customer and Supplier

The ideal candidate for this Project Manager role brings a wealth of experience in leading teams towards achieving organisational objectives.

You have proven your ability in applying PRINCE2 Agile methodology to ICT projects, from initiation to closing.

Your understanding of change management processes is well-developed, and you have a knack for solving complex problems with your high-level analytical and conceptual skills.

You are adept at preparing and presenting substantial reports, and your communication and interpersonal skills are second to none.

  • Highly developed leadership skills as demonstrated by effectiveness in achieving organisational objectives
  • Demonstrated achievement in the design, development, implementation and application of PRINCE2 Agile methodology to ICT projects from Initiation to Closing
  • Welldeveloped understanding of the application of change management processes
  • High level analytical, conceptual and problemsolving skills as evidenced by a record of achievement in complex environments
  • Welldeveloped skills in preparation and presentation of substantial reports
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience within either State or Local Government
