About this opportunity
We are looking for a Network Disruptions Coordinator, reporting to the Director, Passenger Services this role involves:

  • Provide support to the Yarra Trams Projects and Development team on, planning and minimising the impact of planned disruptions required on the Yarra Trams (YT) Network as a result of the Big Build Programme
  • Developing traffic management plans, tram service changes and operational plans
  • Coordinating meetings and discussions between different areas within YT as well as between relevant Project Authorities and Department of Transport and Planning (DTP)
  • Being responsible for putting together documentation and reporting relevant to the planning of network disruptions and working in with the Network Readiness team to ensure consistency
  • Undertaking ad'hoc tasks such as reporting to meet the needs of YT and as required by the Department of Transport and Planning
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the planning disruptions on the YT Network

About you

Ideally you will have:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or
  • Demonstrated experience in coordination and planning of events or program of works
  • Proven Transport Industry and/or Event Planning experience
  • Excellent operational understanding of Victorian public transport systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation, problem solving, and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
  • The confidence to promote ideas or solutions to network issues or constraints to management
  • A resilient ability to work under pressure and achieve operational services timeframes
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
