We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Planner to join our Sydney Airport SESAD project team. Working closely with Sydney Airport this project comprises development of six aircraft parking bays.

Scope of works will also include the extension and widening of existing taxiways to make it easier to access the new parking aprons.

This multi-million project is set to commence March 2023 and will provide essential infrastructure to Sydney Airport with expected growth in passengers.

What's on offer:
Working closely with the Project team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively contributing to the Project team efforts in development of construction methodologies and delivery strategies;
  • Developing and maintaining master Programs in Primavera P6 and TILOS, including the development and assessment of scenario programs;
  • Allocate appropriate resources to develop resource demand curves;
  • Assisting the Project team with the critical assessment of the methodology strategies required to achieve the Program and budget requirements;
  • Establishing reporting mechanisms as a means of providing project KPI's and project controls;
  • Review and updating the program with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors;
  • Reporting on schedules and revenue allocation;
  • Reviewing and assisting with variations and claims.

How you'll connect to the role:

To be successful in this role you will have a Project Engineering background with an eye for detail, a problem solving attitude, together with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

You must be a team player with an excellent communication skills and abilities to work within a busy team environment, but yet someone who, when required, is capable of working on their own with minimum or no supervision.

Ideally you will have a previous site experience in construction/delivery, planning, project controls, forecasting and project management working across a variety of different major construction infrastructure projects.
