Have you had a taste of working in an office environment and want to continue. This is a 12-month Traineeship completing a Certificate III in Business.

Once you have mastered the basics, and cemented your role within the team, your responsibilities will quickly grow, increasing your exposure to a range of different experiences not usually available to trainees.


This role based in Malaga could be your first step in an exciting brand-new career with the prospect of career progression within the company nationally.


You will have the chance to learn a broad range of business administration skills including:

  • Responsible for all reception related duties for WA branch: answering phones, taking messages, greeting customers and branch visitors, ensuring sign in is completed, announce visitors to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensuring the reception area and all common office areas are always kept in clean, presentable and tidy condition.
  • Assist with all daytoday transport for the branch, acting on instructions from WA coordinators and other branch staff. Ensure delivery units are identified in the dispatch bay, maintaining regular communication with the transport companies and drivers. Inform workshop staff of daily transport movements, update TR Log, communicate changes, and ensure correct paperwork is signed off on and filed correctly.
  • Assist with interstate transport handing in the yard and forklift registration renewals.
  • Accounts Payable receiving, printing and coding of AP overhead and transport invoices for the branch. Updating TR Log with transport invoice details, accurate coding and forwarding to CM for signing.
  • Responsible for stationery and consumables orders for the office.
Responsible for mail distribution and drop off at post office as required.

  • Assist with general branch administration, organising work functions and lunches for branch interstate visitors.
  • Maintain adequate filing of all paperwork as per company policy requirements and guidelines.
  • Any other adhoc duties as required.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the desire and drive to learn and strong attention to detail
  • Welldeveloped communication skills, both written and verbal. With strong phone and computer skills
  • Able to take initiative, multitask and work in a fastpassed environment with a calm demeanour.
  • A high level of professionalism and understands confidentiality.
  • Being personable and open to dealing with others.
  • Some exposure to an office environment would be beneficial but not essential
  • Great work ethic and time management with a can do attitude.
