Role Summary
The Consultant & Senior Consultant, Fund Accounting positions are integral to the Australia Investment Accounting (AIA) team based in Melbourne. In this role, you will oversee Unit Pricing and Unit Registry functions for all AIA Clients. Collaboration with teams in Chicago, Bangalore, and Manila is essential. Responsibilities include managing the hard Close/month-end process, facilitating new client implementations, and supporting existing client restructures and transitions.
These roles report to the Manager, Fund Accounting and are open to candidates in both Melbourne and Sydney.
What you will do
- Ensure timely and accurate reports for AIA clients
- Provide insights for process enhancements and operational efficiency improvements
- Liaise with clients and the Project team on client restructures and Unit Pricing processes
- Ensure accuracy of Management Reporting data
- Manage the Hard Close/month-end process while optimizing procedures
- Collaborate professionally with internal departments and teams across locations
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and share new procedures and controls
- Handle complex activities with financial and client impact
- Prior experience in a similar role with expertise in unit pricing
- Ability to work effectively to meet daily client deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Numerical and computer literacy, including Excel and Word
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation
