The Role:

As a Sourcing and Procurement Business Partner, you will be a key driver in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our client's procurement operations within project delivery. Your role will involve strategic leadership, supplier relationship management, procurement planning, and contract management for the delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance, budget management, and resource optimisation to exceed service level targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prioritise stakeholder requirements, support procurement planning, and contribute to policy development.
  • Develop procurement strategies, manage contract panels, and drive innovation in sourcing processes.
  • Develop specifications, facilitate bidding processes, and support commercial negotiation strategies.
  • Manage contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
  • Monitor supplier performance, collate data for evaluation, and drive improvements as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years' experience in strategic procurement and supplier relationship management within large infrastructure construction.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management systems.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on accountability and performance.
