  • We have an exciting new opportunity based out of our Campbellfield location.


This is an exciting time to join Fonterra to support the uplift of our existing manufacturing plant, which pays a significant role in our company's success.


The Role


We are seeking a driven and experienced individual who is ready to tackle new challenges and enable our logistics team's growth.

As the Logistics Line Lead, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Campbellfield site's warehouse operations and play a critical role in creating an environment for success.


With 24-hour, multiple shift accountability for the business results and capability of the logistics cell structure, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to deliver exceptional business outcomes.

You will coach and lead a team of shift leaders, leading hands, and operators, and inspire them to achieve their best.

With your hands on approach and a continuous improvement mindset, you will be instrumental in driving results.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Take the lead in ensuring seamless logistics operations, including precise stock and cycle counting
  • Coordinate the staging process with ease and guarantee smooth inventory management across production, suppliers, and the supply chain
  • Oversee shift reports and site reports and work together with the team to overcome any quality or safety issues
  • Collaborate with other Fonterra sites in Melbourne to drive commonalities
  • Inspire and manage a team of 25 direct and indirect reports
  • Embrace continuous improvement projects and training opportunities in regional areas, and bring back fresh insights to the team

What you'll bring

Ideally you will have:

  • A solid background in warehousing and logistics, with experience in the food manufacturing industry a major plus
  • Forklift experience and license highly desirable
  • Knowledge of inventory systems such as SAP
  • Stock take expertise and experience using inventory management systems
  • Background managing shift reports and site reports, and experience in continuous improvement programs
  • Strong leadership abilities and a resultsfocused mindset

Working Hours:
This is a full-time role that operates 24/7, with the ideal start and finish times being 8am-4:30pm. We understand that life happens, so some flexibility is available where appropriate.

Travel:
