The Role


Working closely with your Buyer and Allocator to drive the success of your business, as a Planner at B&L, you are involved with all aspects of the business - from the strategic vision of your department to where stock is finally allocated.

We work as a Team to drive outcomes and collaborate cross functionally across Marketing, Visual Merchandise and Store Operations.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Participate in the development of the seasonal merchandise strategy and presentation to CEO.
  • Manage OTB and Inventory.
  • Coach and mentor Allocators.
  • Analyse performance of a portfolio, to drive improvement.
  • Drive financial targets sales, gross profit, stock turn, gmroi, aged stock.
  • Contribute positively in a fast passed environment.

Who you are

  • 23 years' experience in a seasonal business.
  • Experience working in apparel.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytics, and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to problem solve creatively and contribute positively in a fast paced, highvolume business.

  • Experience working with Kids underwear and sleep wear will be highly regarded
