About the role


You will be responsible for building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial growth through a strategic mid-level giving program.


  • Provide high level support to the Individual Giving Manager.
  • Develop and grow a midlevel giving program with a focus on acquiring and retaining supporters who can donate between $500 and $5,000 annually.
  • Identify target audiences, develop effective messaging and determine appropriate channels for communication and engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with midlevel donors through personalised communications and customised stewardship plans.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential new donors and evaluate the effectiveness of the midlevel giving program.
  • Qualify donors from the midlevel database to move to major gifts and collaborate with the Philanthropy team to facilitate a smooth transition for donors.
  • Collaborate with the wider fundraising team to ensure alignment with overall fundraising goals and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting through Salesforce and offer recommendations on midlevel giving activities and outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

  • 2+ year experience in a similar role _(desirable, not essential)._
  • Tertiary qualification in Fundraising, Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent professional experience _(desirable, not essential)._
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, strategies and techniques.
  • Curious mindset that analyses market and global trends with a courageous approach to innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Expertise across Word, Excel and other relevant software programs.
  • Experience in CRM database/s.
  • A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to the mission of RSPCA Queensland.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 38 hours per week. Remuneration is commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
