We are currently seeking an
HR Manager to join our team at our Cranbourne office. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a significant difference in people's lives.

Job Purpose:


Reporting to Senior Management, the HR Manager will oversee the sourcing and onboarding of talent, managing the recruitment process for both direct care workers and corporate staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for HRrelated requests, providing advice on employment conditions and employee relations.
  • Manage recruitment, performance reviews, and support succession planning.
  • Oversee external job advertisements, screening, interviewing, and reference checking.
  • Manage the employee database, including contracts, performance management, and staff changes.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Arrange and coordinate training sessions and workshops for staff to ensure continuous professional development.
  • Coach and counsel management on key talent matters, including performance management and development, feedback, employee wellbeing and engagement, and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and adjust HR policies in response to legislative changes and organizational needs.
  • Manage and coordinate all work safety and health policies, and handle all workrelated claims and workers' compensation processes.
  • Ensure that all employment policies comply with current laws and regulations and that Aussie Life Care Australia is compliant with safety and legal practices, procedures, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain proactive communication with staff and clients.

Key Attributes and Skills:

  • Knowledge of standards for direct care workers in the disability sector.
  • Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and strategic problemsolving.
  • Capability to manage stress and work under pressure.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in HR, Recruitment, or Talent Management.
  • Required clearances for working in Disability and Aged Care sectors.
  • Current National Police Clearance and the right to work in Australia.
