This role will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (Brisbane 2032) Master Plan including competition venues, non
- competition venues, training venues, athlete villages, and Olympic precincts.


With a focus on collaboration across governments, Games partners and asset owners, you will take the lead in developing and delivering the Brisbane 2032 infrastructure program, not only setting the stage for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games but contributing to the delivery of an enduring legacy for Queensland through the redevelopment of key assets and precincts.


You will work closely with agencies, Games partners and asset owners to plan and deliver the capital program, and ensure all projects align with the Brisbane 2032 Masterplan and are underpinned by robust, long-term investment decisions.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (Brisbane 2032) Master Plan.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of infrastructure projects identified in the Masterplan including competition venues, noncompetition venues, training venues, athlete villages, and Olympic precincts.
  • Develop project validation reports to support Queensland Government and Australian Government investment into projects identified in the Masterplan.
  • Establish program management functions, including reporting, project assurance, budget control, risk and issues management that align with the governance framework and systems established for Brisbane 203
  • Act as project sponsor and provide strategic direction and oversight of agencies' capital planning, delivery and reporting related to Brisbane 2032 Masterplan projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Australian Government for shared funding of Olympic infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with state and federal agencies, local governments, the Australian Olympic Committee, the International Olympic Committee, OCOG and other Games partners to ensure the strategic objectives of OPIO are realised.
