About the role
Great opportunity for an experienced clinical educator to join our dedicated and supportive education delivery team.
Working full time, your time will be spent educating staff across our Aged Care and Home Care streams. You will develop and deliver ongoing training and education to ensure safe, high-quality care is provided to our consumers.
Travel and some overnight stays are required for this position.
Your main duties will include:
To develop and deliver workshops, training programs and activities that support person centered care, support service delivery requirements and promote skill and capability development.
Ensuring that educational and other strategies reflect clinical evidence based best practice and are aligned with agreed workforce development KPI's.
This will be achieved by establishing educational partnerships with internal Calvary key personnel and external stakeholders including managers, clinicians, education staff, suppliers and relevant professional organisations.
To provide assistance in overview of design, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of education related to clinical practice in clinical care where requested at Calvary services, and be responsible for the credentialing of Support Workers as required, completing required documentation post training.
About youCurrent unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate clinical education.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, along with high level ICT skills.
Unrestricted drivers licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays.
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 OR TAE40122)
Covid-19 vaccination unless assessed exempt.
