Department overview
Our Marketing & Business Intelligence team is focused on maximising revenue growth to achieve Kudosity's aspirations to scale.

This can be achieved with focus on new customer acquisition and Go-To-Market strategy, as well as enhancing existing customer engagement.

We strategically focus on Growth, Customer Lifecycle, Product Marketing and Brand.

Our goals are to:

  • Build an exceptional brand that is well known in target markets as trusted, innovative, and appealing.
  • Deliver insightdriven customer engagement programs for exceptional customer experiences and revenue growth.
  • Ensure our Marketing, Sales & Product teams can access high quality customer data to uplift performance/productivity, serving up personalised recommendations to encourage more purchases.

How you'll make an impact


You'll be playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that data-guided insights empower informed decision-making within our business.

This role will be responsible for understanding business needs, driving customer insights, analysing data, and producing actionable reports to propel business growth and efficiency.


You will be working with a team with a high degree of accountability and collaboration, and very motivated to achieve outcomes.

You'll be hands-on in terms of delivering activities while building out your function from scratch.

What you'll do

Business Requirements Gathering

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and facilitate the integration of analytics solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and data specifications, ensuring alignment between business goals and data capabilities.

Data Management, Analysis and Interpretation

  • Gathering and analysing internal and external data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover meaningful insights, trends, and patterns relevant to business objectives.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from databases.
  • Understand data modelling techniques to design efficient and scalable data structures.
  • Data cleansing, transformation, and preparation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Using of statistical methods and tools to perform data analysis and derive meaningful insights.

Reporting and Visualisation

  • Create visually appealing and intuitive reports, dashboards, and data visualisation tools.
  • Customise reports to meet the specific business needs of different departments and stakeholders.

Insights Delivery and Communication

  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to guide strategic decisionmaking and growth.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics, business intelligence, and data architecture.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and motivate a cross functional team of analysts, sales operations, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand their needs and align BI initiatives with organisational goals.
  • Encourage organisational change and promote a datadriven culture across the organisation, including designing and delivering a company wide roadmap.
  • Communicate data insights effectively through storytelling techniques to guide decisionmaking.
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels and ensuring their buyin for BI initiatives.
  • Adapt to evolving business requirements, technological advancements, and organisational changes.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in business analysis, data analysis or business intelligence roles.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills, a sharp eye for detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL data querying and manipulation, and experience dealing with large and complex data sets. Python skills are mandatory.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Knowledge of data modell
