As a Boilermaker, you'll collaborate with seasoned professionals, master heavy fabrication techniques, and enhance your skills in a supportive, innovative, and dynamic setting.

In this position, you'll kick off by mastering foundational heavy fabrication methods and gradually advance to learn various welding techniques. We are looking for individuals with a strong grasp of engineering basics and a deep passion for hands-on tasks.

Location: Echuca, VIC

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and fabricating plant & equipment like moulds across all production areas in accordance with site requirements
  • Performing tasks such as cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, or hammering metal products to create parts
  • Utilizing hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines
  • Applying various techniques such as welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and secure pieces together to form parts and structures
  • Adding final touches to products by cleaning, polishing, filing, and applying protective or decorative finishes
  • Completing any other relevant tasks as instructed by the host employer

Applicants should ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Have a grasp of fundamental engineering and mathematical principles
  • Present themselves well, be enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
  • Possess strong attention to detail, with high accuracy standards and a talent for problem-solving
  • Hold a valid driver's license and possess dependable transportation

Please note, to qualify, you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa permitting you to work and engage in training in Australia.
