We are now recruiting for a new role of Grape Supply Manager (South Australian Premium Regions), which is responsible responsible for managing the commercial relationship with contracted grape suppliers in Barossa, Langhorne Creek, Limestone Coast, and McLaren Vale with viticultural advice and direction to enable production of grapes of the desired quality.


You will be
based at our McLaren Vale winery, South Australia, but may also be able to work from other sites and from home, time to time.

This role is
full-time and
permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organise and control all grape supply activities for growers within your area of responsibility.
  • Liaise with the Winemakers and other key stakeholders, to ensure the required grape quality is achieved.
  • Ensure that contracted grapes are supplied to the Company in accordance with Grape Sale & Purchase Agreements.
  • Monitor vineyard activities to achieve sustainable levels of production and meet the specified quality targets.
  • Support and liaise with the Global Wine and Grape Supply Planning and Allocations team to balance the supply for the regions.
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting of the short and long term Grape supply.
  • Regular vineyard inspections to manage and ensure grapes meet required specifications, quality targets and volumes. Manage the expectations of the grower and internal stakeholders when fruit does not meet the required specifications, quality targets and volumes.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the wine and or viticulture industry.
  • Highly evolved negotiation skills.
  • The ability to influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive planning and organisational skills as well as the ability to generate innovative solutions.
