Assignment Overview

Joining a dynamic payroll team, the Project Payroll Officer will assist in executing payroll projects to ensure smooth payroll operations for employees.

Having a positive attitude and keen attention to detail, you will contribute to payroll project tasks which may involve:

  • Supporting the implementation of payroll projects while keeping regular payroll activities separate for process enhancement.
  • Aiding in project remediation such as audit recommendations, payroll reconciliations, data remediation, and more.
  • Identifying and participating in payroll and service delivery enhancements.
  • Assisting in system upgrades and configuration testing.
  • Upholding confidentiality and following Santos' values and policies.
  • Promoting process enhancements proactively.
  • Reviewing and optimizing payroll processes, procedures, and practices.

Your Profile

Key requirements:

  • Prior experience as a payroll officer in a large organization.
  • Experience in delivering compliant services with a focus on governance and controls.
  • Proficiency in systems, including Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
  • Proven capability to build and maintain relationships within an organization.
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll activities.
  • Experience with diverse employee groups, including field and office workers, and different types of employees.
  • Familiarity with modern Payroll/HR practices and tools, including HRIS systems & data analytics (preferably Success Factors ECP/SAP).
